Arbor Cadence Snowboard

The Arbor Cadence was a 2010 Good Wood Award Winner and a great freestyle board. If the good wood testers feel this is a great freestyle board then who are we to deny it. Who says a cambered board can't win a good wood these days. For 2011 the Cadence went from camber to continuous rocker. It's not the kind of continuous rocker that is super washy and performs better all over the mountain than almost any other type of continuous rocker board we have come across. It's still no hybrid camber or camber between the feet but it almost feels like a hybrid rocker which is good. The side cut that they have is excellent and holds an edge just like Lib Tech, Roxy and Gnu. The Cadence is also very poppy and easy to spring into the air off even the smallest or natural terrain. Actually all Arbor boards with this tech have pretty good pop. This is a good all conditions snowboard and will perform well on just about any type of snow. The only problem is the rocker can feel a bit like a skateboard with loose trucks when riding on hard snow. The Cadence isn't as bad as many rocker boards we have tried but you can still feel it a little. That being said the Cadence is an excellent choice for some one with varying park moods. The Cadence in 2012 won another Good Wood Award. Despite the award for 2012 not much has changed from 2011 to 2012 except for a few minor tweaks. They are both great boards.
